The push for an on campus stadium comes after a study the City Of Memphis study looking at replacing the Liberty Bowl was released this week. The city study found construction a new stadium at the fairgrounds could cost more than $200 million dollars, and be a financial challenge. Many Tiger fans applaud want a stadium on campus. Eyewitness News obtained dozens of e-mails sent to University President, Shirley Raines and Athletic Director, R.C. Johnson.In many of the e-mails, fans pledge they will donate money for a new stadium if it is built on campus. .
