Road construction along the Arkansas side of Interstate 30 will soon mean road closures and detours for drivers. The installation of bridge beams at the Highway 245 interchange will begin Sunday night and continue through the week. Work crews will shut down the westbound Interstate lane beginning 10 p.m. Sunday, and traffic will be rerouted through the Highway 245 exit ramp. Traffic on Highway 245 will yield to the I-30 traffic, causing some possible congestion. The Interstate will reopen at 6 a.m. The work will continue each night. In the middle of the week, when bridge work on that side is complete, the closure will switch to the eastbound lane. .
